Hello folks! This is your
old pal, Zeus, welcoming you to the new edition of the
GigaIRC Newsletter. GigaIRC is the IRC network where dreams come
true, wishes have wings, and no one goes to the bathroom.
Eight years have gone by and we are still the number one Mauritian
Chat Network with some old faces and many new faces, making virtual
life look purposeful.
This newsletter has been made possible by many
people, and I would like to thank them all. I would firstly like to
thank my co-Editor, Krash for her valuable help and positive inputs
throughout the making of this edition a success. I would also like
to thank the interviewees, Sniper, Diablo and all other the people I
forgot to mention.
I would also like to seize the opportunity to
convey some thoughts to our lovely chatters out there. The past few
years has seen the rise in natural disasters, wars, poverty,
diseases and severely battered husbands. Please note that we don’t
deal with stuffs like that, except, of course in a humorous way.
I certainly hope that you are not one of those
people who think life is serious and deserves all kinds of deep
thought and high purpose. Actually, life is more like a convenience
store; you park in the lot, go in inside, buy a few items, pay the
man and drive home. No mystery there.
On this note I wish you a very happy mid-year.
I'd like to take advantage of this opportunity to wish all of you an
enjoyable other half of the year filled with good fortune. Of
course, I realize this can't happen for everyone. Some of you are
going to be suffering with flu, fevers, and others with severe
headaches. Still others will have all the stress about exams, and
probably fail. And let’s not forget all the broken hearts and
passionate fights with their neighbours while others will be maimed
falling down the stairs. Therefore, many of you will not get to
enjoy the happy and fortunate New Year I'm wishing for you. So just
try to do the best you can.

people! I, Krash, the new editor presents you the latest
edition of the GigaIRC Newsletter. Though new to this place, I can
confidently say that GigaIRC is a happening network with a blend of
old and new users from different parts of the world!
On the
completion of this newsletter I would like to thank the editor in
chief, Zeus, without whom this would not have been possible. Special
thanks to all those who have contributed to the making of this
newsletter in one way or the other.
My
regards to all the faithful users of GigaIRC, wishing everyone luck
and success for the future and hoping that you will all enjoy this
