The GigaIRC Operators are trying to keep the net a friendly place for every user, sometimes users show abusive and/or unwanted behaviors. In these cases IRC Operators may ban these users from the network.

Examples reasons for a ban:

• Being or bringing aggressive Bots/Zombies to the network.

• Unsecured proxy servers

• More than 5 connections to the network

• Sending Virus

• Spamming

• Flooding

• Cloning

• Abuse

• Threatening user

You can fill out this form if you are banned and would like an IRC Operator to review your ban status. You will be contacted if the ban is not supposed to be there and is removed. Bans could be removed in case you were for instance infected with a virus spreading script.

You will not be contacted if the ban is indeed supposed to be there because of activities like spam, flooding.
