WELCOME TO THE PEOPLE'S WEBSITE
So, hello folks. We like to call it the people's website,
because in essence that's what it is. Not made BY the people
mind you - some of us had to sweat big time to put it together
:) - but rather FOR the people. So, in effect, we hope you will
contribute as much to it as we do (any input, however minute, is
always welcome).
Unless all you read is Conde Nast Traveller, you'll be pretty
much aware that along with being a melting pot of cultures,
Mauritius like all nations has a real side to it - the sometimes
harsher facet of life we're almost too scared to portray.
However, reality will always beckon. So, whatever you choose to
publish, even if it's a joke you want to share, I'm sure you'll
find thousands of other Mauritians across the world ready to
listen. If you're a hardcore conspiracy theorist, even better :)
Or maybe you just want a platform to share your thoughts.
Whatever your aim, join the team - click that register button
and let's go! Our members also have access to a lot more content
which casual visitors do not see!
And while you're in, you'll notice it's not all hard work. We
like to have fun too. Heck, we even swear sometimes :). By all
means peruse the jokes, watch the videos, listen to the music
and catch up on the latest gossip - leech all you want, but make
sure you give something back to your fellow Mauritians. That
said, we better contain the patriotic urges! Have a great time
blogging with us. |
